ParadigmNext Innovates Local Marketing

Table of contents:

Chicagoland, Illinois, — Fall 2014 — ParadigmNext knows that success with a business revolves around the community which needs it. In Chicago’s North Shore neighborhoods, the businesses are closely tied with the residents. We know this because we are part of that North Shore community.

One of our clients who runs a pediatrics practice wanted to introduce themselves to the community she moved into, and not just the practice but herself, both as doctor and community member.

We did this by empowering her target market, which are moms in the local community. Marketing herself to the community required us at ParadigmNext to take the tools of marketing online and bring them offline. Capturing the elements of online marketing into offline marketing sounds easy, but employing the techniques of pre-digital marketing does not work to the same degree it may have in the past.

Identifying our target was easy enough, but scaling a percentage of moms who actually have children young enough to visit a pediatrician was most difficult. By getting the word out at gyms, community centers, and public recreational centers, we created a marketplace of needs. What we marketed was a question and answer session for the community of moms. The pediatrician would be available to answer questions about non-emergency issues in their childrens lives. It creates a sense of community bonding and an organic conception of trust.

The event has been hosted at the practice on a monthly basis, and the turnout had to have been motivated greatly by the integrated marketing techniques we pushed out into the community. By providing the means to information about a service to an identified target market in a specific community, we received an overwhelming response. Highlighting one community member’s capacity to help the rest is something that is not just an intrinsic commodity to the North Shore, but one that is only natural to respond to.

The name was also crucial, and we are proud to call it ‘Circle of Moms,’ which just hearing conveys that this is a place of warmth and discussion. In the Circle of Moms, the community shows itself to be what it really is, so it is almost as if it presents itself as a public forum where the goal is to increase community values through education. Healthier children means a healthier lifestyle, which is, without a doubt, directly related to levels of happiness within a community. Happy families means a happy community and that is what ParadigmNext is all about.
